During our second week we will be sailing to the historical city of Šibenik, we will also depart from Marina Boatic near the city of Trogir, twenty minutes from Split airport.

ITINERARY JUNE 16 - 23

SATURDAY, JUNE 16:
We will leave Marina Boatic after having been checked in on our yachts, and having provisioned for the week.  Our first stop will be the charming small port of Maslinica on the island of Šolta. Dinner at the stunning Martini Marchi Palace.

SUNDAY, JUNE 17:
From Maslinica we will be sailing to Primošten, a picturesque small city on a peninsula.  We will be at anchor there for the night.  We will dinghy ashore for dinner or have dinner on board at the discretion of the crew members of each yacht. A nice spaghetti with some local wine is always a great way to spend the evening on board.

MONDAY, JUNE 18:
There are quite a few islands between Primošten and the hictoric city of Šibenik and we will be sailing among them.  Let’s anchor out for lunch at one of the many anchorages on one of the islands, like Magarna Bay on Zlarin and let’s go for a refreshing swim in the crystal clear Adriatic water.  We will be docking at Marina Mandalina, a short taxi ride to Šibenik which is definitely worth a visit. Go check out the barrel shaped ceiling of the cathedral and the fortress.  We will have many choices to find yet another great gastronomical experience.

TUESDAY, JUNE 19:
This will be a different experience as we motorsail from Šibenik up the river and through the Prokljansko lake towards Škradin, a city dating back to the Romans.  We will dock at the ACI Marina and take the ferry to the Krka National Park where we will be able to admire the waterfalls and, weather permitting, swim in the cool fresh water under the falls.  This is also the location of the first electrical generating plant ever built by Nikola Tesla.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 20:
Back down the river we go but this evening will be a special one.  You will have noticed on the way up the river the many mussel farms.  Our lead boat will stop at one of the farms and load up enough fresh mussels for the whole flotilla.  That evening, on the island of Kaprije, we will have a mussel cook-off contest among the yachts.  The  entries will be judged for the best recipe and the winning team will go home with prices and bragging rights.

THURSDAY, JUNE 21:
We are already almost at the end of the cruise and we need to head back towards Trogir and our next overnight stay will be in Rogoznica.  We will have the option to stay either at the wall of the small fishing city or at the spectacular Marina Frappa where your yacht will be dwarfed by the huge yachts of Russian oligarchs and movie stars.  Dinner in Rogznica or in the marina.

FRIDAY, June 22:
Our last day sailing during this first week.  Off we go towards Marina Boatic where you have the choice of staying for the night on your yacht or go sleep at a local hotel.  If you decide to stay on the yacht, you will have to leave by 8:30am on Saturday.  Hugs and kisses and see you next time.
