sailing the coast of mallorca

DAY 1: Check in on our boats on September 1 and, after having done our provisioning, we will leave the base in Palma and start sailing to the small port of Sa Ràpita on the southeast side of Mallorca where we will spend the night either at anchor or at the seawall. Dinner at the marina restaurant

DAY 2: We head southeast towards Punta Salinas, then northeast to Porto Colom where we will have dinner and spend the night. On our way we will visit several small calas or anchorages.

DAY 3: We stay another day in Porto Colom to visit some local attractions.  Discover the spectacular Caves of the Dragon, buy your Sweetie a nice pearl ring, bracelet or collar at the world famous Majorica Pearl Factory, followed by a lunch of local cheeses, charcuteries and wines in the organic vineyard of our friend Tony after which we will go to the top of the San Salvador Monastery for an unforgettable view of the surrounding countryside.


Day 4: Let’s head NE to Porto Cristo where we will spend the night at the mooring ball, have dinner ashore.  On the way to Porto Cristo we will have the opportunity to anchor out in some calas for lunch and a refreshing dive into the crystal clear water.

DAY 5: Leave Porto Cristo and sail 27NM to Isla Cabrera. Spend the night at the buoy in this national park. Visit the island, the fortress. dinner on board. (We arrange for mooring permits).

DAY 6: We leave Cabrera and visit some beaches along the coast.  Anchor out, swim and have lunch.  Weather permitting, we will anchor out near Colonia Sant Jordi and dinghy into town for a memorable dinner at a fabulous restaurant.

DAY 7: we head back towards Palma with visit to Cala Pi.
