Join Med Sailing Adventures for an unforgettable 10-day sailing journey through Thailand’s spectacular southern coast. Sail past limestone karsts, explore turquoise lagoons, and soak up the vibrant local culture in one of the world’s most beautiful cruising grounds. Starting in Phuket, we’ll explore Phang Nga Bay, visit iconic spots like James Bond Island and Koh Hong, and spend two enriching days onshore in Krabi. There, you’ll enjoy included land excursions: a visit to an elephant sanctuary, a Thai cooking class, and a jungle tour to temples and hot springs. From Krabi, we sail to the lively Phi Phi Islands for snorkeling and nightlife, then on to Maya Bay and quieter anchorages like Koh Yao Yai as we make our way back. Along the way, expect a perfect mix of adventure, culture, and relaxation. We’ve reserved a fleet of well-equipped, air-conditioned catamarans—spaces are limited and booking early is essential.
Itinerary
A 10-day sailing adventure through the Andaman Sea Join us for a journey along Thailand’s southern coast, where limestone cliffs, turquoise waters, and island anchorages set the scene for a memorable flotilla experience. This 10-day trip blends sailing with Thai culture, local cuisine, and time ashore at some of the region’s most iconic locations, including Phi Phi and Maya Bay. This itinerary coincides with Chinese New Year, and guests are welcome to arrive earlier to enjoy the local festivities before the flotilla begins. The route combines scenic sailing with curated land excursions such as an elephant sanctuary visit, a Thai cooking class, and a jungle tour with waterfalls, temples, and hot springs. Whether new to flotillas or experienced, this voyage offers a balance of sailing, discovery, and time to unwind.

Day 1 – Yacht Haven → Koh Phanak → Phang Nga Bay

Day 2 – Phang Nga Bay → James Bond Island → Koh Hong (Krabi)
Morning visit to iconic James Bond Island
Sail past Koh Yao Noi to Koh Hong lagoon (Krabi side)
Evening: Swim, relax, dine onboard
Day 3-5 - Krabi River Marina
Depart Chicken Island to Railey Beach Krabi. Sail Southeast towards the stunning topography and beaches of Krabi. A brief stop to dinghy in and explore the beach and take beautiful panoramic pictures of the beautiful waters and bay, before proceeding to Krabi River Marina where we will spend three days and three nights in Krabi at the local marina on the river as there is so much to explore in this area.
Activities included are –
- Full-Day Jungle Tour Including Tiger Cave Temple,
- Crystal Pool and Krabi Hot Springs
- Land tour to the Elephant Sanctuary and
- Thai cooking classes.
Day 6 – Krabi → Chicken Head Islands → Bamboo Island → Phi Phi

Evening in Phi Phi: Dinner ashore, shopping, fire shows, nightlife
Day 7 – Phi Phi → Maya Bay
Explore Phi Phi Leh, snorkel & visit cliffside ranger stations
Sail around Maya Bay & surrounding national park
Day 8 – Maya Bay → Koh Kai Nui → Koh Yao Yai
Snorkeling stop at Koh Kai Nui
Optional visit to the scenic “restaurant on a rock”
Evening: Dinner ashore at Koh Yao Yai
Day 9 – Koh Yao Yai → Yacht Haven Marina
Leisurely morning sail back to base

Capt. Patrick Casey
We’re thrilled to have Capt. Patrick “Casey” at the helm of our Thailand flotilla. A seasoned sailor and USCG-certified instructor, Casey is no stranger to these waters — he has sailed Thailand multiple times and knows the region’s hidden gems, anchorages, and local flavor better than most.
Founder of The Captain School in Cape Coral, Florida, Casey has led offshore deliveries, flotillas, and transatlantic crossings. He’s also a former PADI dive instructor, adding an extra layer of knowledge when it comes to exploring tropical waters.
More than just a skilled sailor, Capt. Casey is known for his calm leadership, great sense of humor, and ability to make everyone feel welcome on board. With him at the helm, you're in for a safe, well-run, and truly unforgettable journey through Thailand.
